At $3.4b over 10 years, the ATS is the main driver of change under the $6.2b New Car Plan for a Greener Future. Supplementary programs include the Green Car Innovation Fund (GCIF) which has now been cancelled, Structural Adjustment Program, Supply Chain Development Program, Market Access Program, enhancements to the LPG Vehicle Scheme and the establishment of an Automotive Industry Innovation Council. Assistance is scheduled to cease in 2020.
Similar to its predecessor the Automotive Competitive Investment Scheme (ACIS), ATS provides grants for investment in new and second hand imported capitalized plant and equipment, information technology and research and development by Australia's passenger motor vehicle industry. Eligible claimants include: passenger motor vehicle producers; automotive component producers; automotive machine tool producers; and automotive service providers.
TCF Services work hand-in-hand with clients to develop compliant methodologies supporting quarterly returns, and prepare and lodge claims for ATS grants that align with the emphasis of the Scheme to assist local firms that are capable of making the jump to the next level of global automotive technology which will appear in models produced after 2015.
TCF Services deliver a nation-wide training and consulting service that ensures quarterly returns are prepared in accordance with legislative requirements, are verified against rigorous internal processes resulting in maximum return with minimum fuss.
