About Us

TCF Services Pty Ltd provide hands on delivery of government grants and financial tools to help clients grow their business.

While leveraging grant schemes which encourage business investment in Australian manufacturing, TCF Services also help clients stay compliant with the regulations of Australian Government industry assistance programs.

Formed in 1983, the founding partners drew upon their strong entrepreneurial culture and sharp business skills to position TCF Services as a trusted business partner and valuable facilitator of commercial transactions arising from Government intervention in the TCF and Automotive industries.

ACIS and SIP - Delivering the Future

Through the 1990s, TCF Services expanded its business profile by opening an office in Melbourne, diversifying into the automotive sector and concluding a strategic alliance with an industry policy specialist and lobbyist in Canberra.

As political support for both the TCF and Automotive import 'Credit' Schemes declined in the late 1990s, TCF Services re-positioned itself as an advisor to Government in the development of follow-on industry assistance programs.

The subsequent introduction of the TCF Strategic Investment Program (SIP) and Automotive Competitiveness Investment Scheme (ACIS) in 2000, reflects a change of emphasis of Government industry policy - from one of export subsidy, to a more sophisticated plan for encouraging innovation and investments in Australian manufacturing that are commercially sustainable over the long-term at low levels of direct Government assistance.

Through ongoing engagement with industry policy influencers and close monitoring of developments in industry and trade policy, TCF Services continues to do what it has always done best - apply its wide knowledge of the TCF and Automotive industries - along with an intimate understanding of Government - to provide valuable insights and commercial advice to clients on how they can leverage government grants to advance their own strategic business plans and their 'bottom line' results.

The focus of these efforts is increasingly global as the Australian economy and ever-changing export/import mix is influenced by the Commonwealth Government’s active program of free trade agreements and pursuit of global trade liberalization.

In support of their globally-focused Australian-based clients, TCF Services has now joined forces with WEALTHcheck Finance, an innovative supplier of equipment and cashflow financial services - bringing a new dynamic to its palette of services for clients, whether they be in import, export or a combination of both.

In the early years of the 21st century, TCF Services has embraced an active and on-going role in its relationship with clients, aimed at professionally bridging the years after 2010, and the next iteration of Government industry and trade policy affecting the advanced TCF and Automotive industries.
