As a Director of TCF Services for over 20 years, David has lead our Automotive division in the delivery of various automotive industry assistance programs since 2000. David leverages his extensive manufacturing process knowledge to facilitate compliant grant applications for the broad range of manufacturing businesses undertaking research and development activities.
Over a 35-year career in commerce & national security affairs, Trevor has worked for the United States Embassy, the Australian Chamber of Commerce, Chambre de commerce Internationale (ICC), as a government affairs & Ministerial adviser on the Textiles, Clothing & Footwear and Automotive industries, as a Director of TCF Services Pty Ltd & as a Co. Director in several self-funded businesses generating Defence business opportunity analyses & commentary on Australian national security policy & Defence materiel procurement. Trevor’s most recent career appointment (2010-2015) was as Head of Corporate Communications for the Asia-Pacific Region for US-based Lockheed Martin Corporation Inc. Since 2015, Trevor has turned his accumulated expertise towards an in-depth analysis of Australian defence & national security materiel acquisitions & has formed a partnership with TCF Services Pty Ltd to assist clients in accessing benefits from the Defence Innovation Programme.
Raja joined TCF in 2000 and became a Director in 2008. Prior to joining TCF, Raja worked as a process engineer who developed numerous engineering solutions across a variety of manufacturing settings. With a passion for assisting manufacturers, Raja has managed the delivery of over $100 million in Government assistance for our clients.
With a passion for helping businesses grow, Rick has been acting as a CPA for almost 25 years. Having worked in larger corporations including Ernst & Young and PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Rick’s passion saw him shift his focus to small business owners. Over the past 15 years Rick has helped businesses receive over $75 million in R&D Tax incentives and other forms of Government assistance. Today Rick leads the delivery of the R&D Tax Incentive at TCF Services.
Steven joined TCF Services in 2000 and became a Director in 2012. Steven acts as the Financial Controller of TCF Services and also holds a R&D Tax agents licence. In his prior employment Steven gained wide experience working for both SME's and multinationals. Today Steven assists clients in securing the R&D Tax Incentive and ensuring that submitted grant applications are of an auditable standard.
Terry has over 30 years experience in assisting companies access R&D Tax benefits. Terry has held various roles in AusIndustry including Deputy State Manager of the NSW Office and as an independent R&D Tax Consultant. With an extensive knowledge of technology, Australian business and the R&D Tax Incentive, Terry is well placed to deliver maximum R&D Tax Incentive benefits for your business.
Having joined TCF in 1999, Carlo established the internal systems and processes by which we still operate today. Known for his ever-curious mind and his thirst for all things new to technology, Carlo uses this knowledge and prior experience across both the manufacturing and ICT sectors to understand the many innovations which have been actively leveraged to receive Government assistance for the past 15 years.
Ian has broad technical knowledge and business skills gained from extended experience in the finance and IT industries. Examples of these skills include the R&D Tax Incentive, business planning, project management and risk compliance. Through his prior experience with KPMG and the Pattens Group, Ian has helped a large number of companies from a variety of industries claim R&D Tax benefits for over 10 years.
Michael has ten years of experience in R&D Tax and other Government incentive programs including eight and half years in a Big 4 consulting firm handling R&D Tax claims with AusIndustry.
He has prepared R&D claims across a wide range of technologies and industry sectors including a broad spectrum of engineering disciplines including construction, logistics, mining, energy and natural resources, manufacturing and agribusiness. Michael is also experienced in managing audit responses and advocating on behalf of clients when their R&D claims come under scrutiny from AusIndustry and/or the ATO.
Rob also has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance. He has over two decades of experience helping companies access R&D benefits, initially working with financiers, including Macquarie Bank. Since 2004, he has worked with BSI Innovation and has assisted companies in the mining, manufacturing, biotech, food, information technology and medical device sectors to claim R&D Tax benefits. Rob has a detailed knowledge of the scientific method from an early research career at CSIRO, University of Sydney and Universtaet Bern. His vision is to help companies claim government innovation incentives and grow to become the next industry leaders.
Matthew has recently become a Business Services Manager after spending one and a half years as an assistant to the TCF R&D Tax Incentive team and graduating from his Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Accounting) / Bachelor of Law degrees. Matthew has a passion for innovation and has an understanding of small business through his past personal ventures. Matthew is also currently studying part-time to become a member of CPA Australia.
Jenny joined TCF Services in 2003 and has successfully been obtaining TCF industry grants for our clients for over 10 years. Having honed her talents in both London and Sydney, Jenny has a technical and design management background in the fashion industry. Combined with her general thirst for new knowledge Jenny possesses the ideal skill set required to analyse, research and produce highly technical grant submissions which combined with her acute client relationship management skills, see her consistently delivering maximum returns for clients.
Lee-Ming has industry experience as an engineer with Power & Water Corporation and as a consultant assisting companies to access government funds with Big 4 Accounting firms. Lee-Ming specialises in helping clients preparing and lodging R&D applications and determining the financial benefits. His strong skills in technical writing and experience in engineering & commerce enables him to work with clients to prepare robust and defensible claims. His clients range from start-up companies to large organisations based across all states of Australia and in a wide range of industry sectors (specialist engineering, construction, oil & gas, manufacturing, agriculture and IT / software).
Samantha joined TCF Services in 2016 as an admin and an assistant to the R&D tax incentive team. After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce (Professional Accounting), Samantha worked in a local accounting firm where she developed technical knowledge and skills in taxation and also built up a good understanding of small business. She is currently studying to become a member of CPA Australia.
